Set up Auto Time Tracking in Firm Preferences

Firm Preferences provides an easy way to automatically track time for specific features when in use.
  1. When logged in as an Administrator, navigate to Tools > Settings and Options.
  2. In left-hand menu under Systemwide Settings, select Firm Preferences.
  3. Under Billing and Time Tracking, check the box next to Show Time Tracking Options. Checking this box toggles on the option to immediately start the time tracker in three areas of MerusCase: in New Case Activity, when Composing a New Message, and when you are in the case's Ledger Tab
  4. Click Save
