Some Contacts Appear Empty

If you notice missing or empty contacts in your MerusCase rolodex, there are several factors that may have caused this occurrence.

  • Names and contact information entered in the wrong fields
  • Inefficiently stored data migrated from a different case management system
  • Data migrated from other systems that create empty contacts when users send a message to a new email address
  • Data migrated from other systems that does not differentiate between companies and individuals\


The old adage of "garbage in, garbage out" still applies when migrating data from a system that stores contacts in a less efficient manner to a more sophisticated system like MerusCase.
