Adding a Statute to a Case


 
When creating a new injury, you can specify the Set Statute Expiry in the Injury Details section of a case.
 

To add a statute for an injury:
 

 
1. Go to the desired case, most likely a workers compensation case.

2. Click on the Injuries tab then click on Details which will showcase more information.
 
 
 
 
3. Click on Edit.
 
 

 

 

 

 
 

4. Select the Statute Type by period of time or by description from the Set Statute Expiry drop-down menu.

5. Click Add

*Note* In order to add a statute to a case, there needs to be a Date of Injury

6.  Click Save.
