Tracking Time while Composing a Message

  1. Go to Messages > Compose
  2. Be sure to assign this message to a Case. If no case is selected, you will not have the option to track your time.
  3. Once a case is assigned, the Add Time Charges option will appear.
  4. Click Add Time Charges, once selected the timer will start tracking your time spent composing this message. 
  5. Additionally, you can enter a Ledger Item as another method for Time Tracking.
  6. Once finished with your message, click Send at top right side of your screen. Your time will be automatically added to the selected case and can be found in the case's Ledger, under Books > My Billable Time, or Books > Open Charges for users with Administrative or Accounting privileges.
