Removing Duplicate Contacts


When adding cases to your firm, sometimes contacts and companies are duplicated due to many users working on a case at the same time. As the months and years pass, these contacts will accumulate, and you'll have many duplicates for multiple contacts in your firm. Easily remove these duplicates!

 

 

 

  1. Go to Tools > Settings & Options.
  2. Click Data Import Tools in the left-hand accordion.
  3. Click Remove Duplicates.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then you'll have to choose which area do you want to clear, your contacts or your companies. This will merge all contacts or companies within your firm which have the same fields. The cases attached to the contacts will be detached and attached to the merged contact.

 

 

 

  1. Click Contacts or Companies.
