Master File Overview


A Master File is a flagging system that highlights a case and helps direct users to this case as the primary case. The users should use the Master File as the primary case because all activities regarding the applicant will be logged in it.

 

Because a plaintiff can have multiple cases within Merus and their corresponding activity can be spread across those cases, a Master File was developed as a solution to consolidate all applicant case activities.

 

How to Set a Master File

 

 

  1. Open a case.
  2. Click the Case Details tab.
  3. Click the Edit button on Case Info.

 

 

 

 

  1. Click the check box for Master File.
  2. Click Save.
